Yes, I know May has come and gone, but somehow life is creeping by! 10 months down – and then some, now that this draft is finally making it out into the wild.

Adventures:
My first time going to stand up comedy at The Comic’s Lounge in North Melbourne with some teacher friends! We got free tickets, so how could we say no? Though asking a group of teachers to be out at 8:30 on a Friday night might have been a big ask…
Games night and celebrating Greek Easter with friends. So much fun!
A trip to Grampians National Park with Lucas and Sydney. It finally hit me that this is what Australian autumn feels like. We were supposed to go at the beginning of March, but the universe was looking out for us, because this was the weekend that the Aurora Australis were out in full force. We drove out to the middle of the park and watched in awe as the sky danced above us. Our activities included a bunch of hiking and visiting a bakery or two.
We (or rather, Lucas) drove out Friday right after school, and arrived about 8 pm. We found some kangaroos hanging out by our accommodation in Halls Gap, too!
I attended a pair of matches for Global Soccer Week, watching the Australian All Stars teams take on Arsenal Women’s FC and Newcastle Men’s FC at Marvel Stadium.
An IKEA visit on one of Sydney and my’s weekend walks (meatballs were had).
Saying goodbye to one of our Canadian friends! The first of our working holidays is coming to an end, so we sent her out in style, having dinner, then doing an escape room, then going to a games bar and playing some corn hole and shuffleboard. So much fun!
Dodgeball semi-finals! My last game of the season, where we had a skeleton team and played hard but did not advance to the final round.
To try and streamline this blog thing, I think I am going to just put all my photos for the post at the end in a gallery – all in favour? I’m also going to stop manually entering the image descriptors, but if I find out I have any visually impaired readers I’ll be sure to go back to it 🙂
See you soon!
Kate
It sounds like you are very busy! I could not open up your photos… Maybe it is just me.
